Adding a New eSlide

To add a new eSlide to a specimen associated with a project, case, or course, or to a Genie Training Set, do the following:

  1. Click Add Digital Slides on the Digital Slides menu at the top of the eSlide Manager page..

  2. When the Add New Slides page opens, click the radio button to select it and enter the number of new slides you want to add.

  3. If you want to specify the folder and sub-folder where the slides will reside on the server, click that radio button as well, and browse to the location.

  4. Complete the data-entry fields or select the options that are relevant to the slide.  Available fields and valid inputs are defined in the Slides data table.  If required formatting has been specified, as in a date field, an example will appear next to that field.

  5. When you have finished, click Add to add the new slides(s) or Cancel to discard your changes.

If you are uploading images from a folder on the eSlide Manager server, you will see a warning page if those images are already assigned to eSlides and you can choose whether or not to reassign them to the new eSlides or leave them assigned to the previous slides.
